Do you offer tours for large groups?

Public tours are capped at 40 participants.
Private tours can be booked to accomodate groups of any size.

Do you offer tours in languages other than German?

We offer public tours in English and Polish (see the homepage for times).

All videos presented on standard German-language tours are subtitled in English.

Private tours are offered in English, French, Japanese, Dutch, Polish and Russian.

What is the difference between the public and private tours?

Public tour

Anyone can buy a ticket (subject to availability) and participate in a tour. Tours take place daily (except for match days). Start times are available on the homepage. Children under five can participate without cost.

Is there a minimum number of participants needed for a public tour to take place?

No. Public tours will take place in any event.

Private Tour

We organise a tour for you and your group. You can choose your own start time (subject to availability) and have your own personal guide who will take you and your friends, relatives, co-workers, classmates, etc. on a tour that fits your needs and wishes. (Tours will be billed on the basis of a minimum of 15 guests.)
Additionally, we can offer private tour guests extras like a pitchside beer or glass of sparkling wine, or a currywurst snack at one of the stadium food stands. (Food will be billed on the basis of a minimum of 15 guests.)

Do I need a 15-person group to book a private tour?

We offer private tours to groups of all sizes.
The price for all private tours with fewer than 15 people is priced on a 15-person basis.

Can children under five take part in tours without cost?

The flat rate charged for a group of 15 guests includes free entry for up to three children under five. Each additional child will be assessed at the the concession rate applying to additional adults.

Where can I book a private tour?

Fill out the request form on our website. We will do our best to fulfill your request and send you further information/confirmation via e-mail.

Where does the tour start?

The stadium tours start from Monday to Saturday in the BVB-FanWelt and on Sunday in the BORUSSEUM (Strobelallee 50, 44139 Dortmund).

Can I use my wheelchair or pram on the tour?

Most public tours include stairs. If you are interested in a step-free public tour, please check times here.

Tickets

Where can I buy tickets for stadium tours?

Tickets for stadium tours can be purchased in Foyer West, the BORUSSEUM, in the FanWelt, in the online shop, as well as at all locations where advance BVB match tickets are sold.

Can tickets be exchanged?

Please bear in mind that, without exception, tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Do you offer vouchers for stadium tours?

We do not offer stadium tour vouchers at this time. You can book tickets for a specific time in our online shop. Please bear in mind that tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged.

How can I book tickets for a step-free tour?

The times we offer step-free tour are posted on our website.
Please notify us of your interest in a particular time via e-mail. We’ll need to know your mobile number as well as how many people will be coming in your group.

Who is eligible for concession ticket prices?

Concessions are offered to students, the unemployed, pensioners, the disabled, and people under the age of 19. Carers accompanying disabled persons can join the tour without cost.

Parking

Where can I park?

Free parking places are available near the FanWelt in the “Luftbad” car park. There is no separate coach parking area. Click here for directions. Please pay attention to opening times posted on site.

Payment for private tours

Private tours are subject to a pre-paid deposit. Final bills will be sent after the tour takes place.

What happens if I’m running late?

Public tour
Please bear in mind that guests who arrive late to their appointed tour cannot join it in progress. Latecomers’ tickets lose their validity.

Private tour
If your group is running late, please call us as soon as you can on 0231 9020 1684. Please bear in mind that your tour may be cut short in the case of a late start.

May I take photos?

You are welcome to take photos and videos for private use.

Can I buy food or bring food along on a public tour?

Food is not permitted to be brought along a public tour, and tour participants will not have an opportunity to purchase food during the course of a public tour.
On private tours, guests can book catering packages in advance.

Can I bring my pet on the stadium tour?

Animals are not allowed in the stadium.
