6. ‘Social Plugins’

To protect your data, we have employed the so-called ‘two-click-solution’. Social plugin buttons have been de-activated as a default setting, so that no data is transmitted upon loading the site. By clicking the button a second time, you are able to use the services of the chosen social network. Protecting your data is a central objective for BVB. To that end, we employ technical and organisational security measures to prevent data you give us from accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or access by unauthorised people. Our security measures are continually upgraded in keeping with technological developments. However, no electronic communication is entirely safe. BVB cannot be held liable for the publication of information due to errors in data transfer and/or for unauthorised access of information by third parties. Additionally, you can receive undesired messages from others as a result of submitting personal information in areas with open access.
